Eucalyptus is used in smudging for protection, health boosting as well as being energizing for cleansing. Eucalyptus is recognized as one of Earths earliest herbal healers. Ignite the leaves, blow out flame and the leaves will release a cloud of white, purifying smoke. Place in a fire-proof container or abalone shell, or use as a wand to spread the smoke around your home or cleansed space. When you're finished with the smudge, cover it with sand and leave it in the container, or blot it out against the container or shell.
